About

The bridge between the platform and the people who depend on it

I’m a Systems Engineer at ANSSI in Paris, where I design hybrid cloud platforms and carry them through to adoption: gathering needs, aligning stakeholders and making the case in steering committees. What I enjoy most is being the bridge between technical teams and the people who rely on them.

I graduated from the Computer Science department of INSA Lyon in September 2025, after a three-year apprenticeship at EDF. I’ve been into DIY, electronics and computer science for years, and most of it still ends up in my homelab, which is where a lot of what I bring to work gets tried out first.

My trajectory is deliberately two-sided: deep enough in the infrastructure to build it myself, and comfortable enough with stakeholders to lead the people who will.

What I work with

The technical half is what I build with. The delivery half is what makes it land, and it’s the half I’m deliberately growing towards.

I design and run an agency-wide hybrid cloud platform within a secure and sovereign framework. I created a dedicated workstream inside the project and run it as its sole engineer, while keeping the legacy infrastructure alive alongside the new platform and planning its progressive migration.

The role is as much about people as it is about infrastructure: I work on site with internal teams and external contractors, report and promote the project in steering committees to build buy-in, run hiring interviews, and document both the legacy estate and the new solutions as reference material for the team.

System & HPC Engineer (apprentice)

EDF, Direction Technique · Lyon

Three years at the Technical Direction of EDF’s nuclear engineering division, in the Scientific IT and HPC department, scoping requirements with business clients on every project.

I built Rust monitoring tools for a petascale LUSTRE filesystem and Python log analytics, managed a cluster-access application project, and developed a Rust proof of concept for a multi-cluster abstraction layer serving 700 business users. I also led HPC and cloud workshops for our users.

Working through the INSA student-run consultancy, I deployed a state-of-the-art AI RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) application in a containerised infrastructure: a business-knowledge-aware chatbot in a secure context, built on a multi-container, multi-network Docker Compose stack providing a reliable API.

I ran regular meetings with the client to sync project status and refine their needs, and supported 2 developers on their environments and technical issues.

HPC Engineer (intern)

SCITAS, EPFL · Lausanne, Switzerland

Three months at the Scientific IT and Application Support group of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, as a mobility within my EDF apprenticeship. Embedded with EPFL research engineers, benchmarking HPC clusters and building proofs of concept for tools like ReFrame from CSCS and Slurm-web from Rackslab.

Technical Support Specialist

DCS Easyware · Lyon

First-level IT support for the La Poste group: receiving incidents by phone and resolving or escalating them. Very business-oriented, with a continuous stream of edge cases, and I stepped up to manage the support team for several weeks during multiple IT crises.

My first real experience of professional IT work: I ran the agency’s Windows 10 migration in summer 2019, then returned from November 2021 to February 2022 to benchmark its network storage solutions, automating the benchmarking process and building a C++ tool to compile the results.

My Homelab

A personal hybrid cloud platform running on VPSs and mini-PCs, hosting most of my tools. It leads the list not because it’s recent but because it’s the project I maintain the most.

I’ve migrated the workload stack from Proxmox and Docker to a self-managed Kubernetes cluster, and designed every layer underneath it, with provisioning and day-to-day operations automated through CI and GitOps.

Rusty Real Time Instruments Recognition is a deep-learning application that analyses an audio stream in real time to detect instruments, written in Rust so it runs on cheap hardware, and released open source. My first real deep-learning project, and where I learned most of what I know about audio processing and model training.

Published as Real-Time Musical Instruments Recognition for Scenography Purposes with Mathis DEVIDAL, Romain MICHON and Johan ERBANI, and presented at the Linux Audio Conference 2025 in Lyon.

Advent of Code

My implementations in a mix of Python and Rust, covering 2019, 2023 and a full 2024, my best year yet, in a real competition against colleagues, which I won.

What I like about it is the speed. Twenty-five days of small puzzles where the point is to read the problem and get something working fast, not to build it properly. It’s the opposite of how I work the rest of the year, which is exactly why it’s fun.

I’d love to do another edition. So far, December keeps arriving with work already full.

SLURM Dockerized emulates a small HPC cluster from Docker images, so you can test job scripts and cluster behaviour without access to real hardware. A report on ransomware covers current trends and the state of the art, including a case study of WannaCry and a small demonstration of the EternalBlue vulnerability it exploited.

Further back: Horizon 2171, a retro text game in Java from a story by Camille MARTIN. LIR Games started as a real laser-game project in 2017 and became a business case in my first year.
